And into Peru

border with Ecuador

some soggy days

Kuelap. Pre Incan Chachapoyas. Never taken. This is the only entrance

mi moto needed some love

this one was a little harder to get right

more soggy

nice to get back to the coast

great place in the middle of nowhere. guest books with stories from all of the overlanders. very cool. GREAT people here

I could have stayed here for a long time. Oasis in the middle of the sand dunes. Huge sand dunes. Huacachina in southern Peru.

I know it is supposed to be some kind of a big deal but...

soooo dry.

This is what you play on when living part of the Atacama

Amazing end to an amazing day

Woke up on my sleeping pad in the desert off of a powerline road. Thought I was alone. Mi amigo thought the same. We were crashed within 50 yards of each other. Great guy. He is working on the transmission lines to Chile.

This park and cathedral and fountain were designed by Eiffel. Yes, that Eiffel. Beautiful. and perfect. In the middle of a small town that you've never heard of and I can't remember.

Mountains of Ecuador

Construction delay. For hours... Decided to make some coffee

My MSR burns unleaded but the bottle was empty. Hence the siphon. Ernesto thought it was a photo op

she took no shit whatsoever from her big brother

The border where we crossed from Ecuador into Peru is literally a limb with a counterbalance across the bridge.

These are two brothers riding two up on an F800. They came down and around from Colombia. Brotherly love

Where would I be without my iPhone... In the same place. I just wouldn't know where.
