Cafayate y Ruta de Vino

Rented a car for a couple days with some friends and did the 'Ruta de Vino' down to Cafayate from Salta.

And then continued the next day via Cachi

Would have been REALLY fun on my moto. Alas,...

After getting the last cast cutoff and starting physical therapy I decided to take a side trip up to Salta.

Junin de Los Andes for mi moto

I met Mihai and Pawel in Flores, Guatemala, months before. We crossed paths again later in Nicaragua. And again in Buenos Aires - out of about 12 million people. Amazing. 

Mihai bailed me out in a big, big way. He came with me back to Junin de los Andes to retrieve my bike. I had just had my casts removed and was in no shape to try and ride it myself. My hand was still pretty much worthless so I couldn't really work on it myself either.

It was really good to see the bike again. 

Not so good to see someone else ride her away!

Junin was a great place to crash.
